Terms of Service
By using Fries Map (the "app") you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
1. Eligibility
You must be 13 or older, or above the age of digital consent where you live, to use the app.
2. Accounts
You may use the app as a guest or signed in. You are responsible for activity that happens under your account, and for keeping your credentials safe.
3. Your content and the licence you grant
You keep ownership of the reviews, photos and venue information you post ("your content"). By posting, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, adapt (for example to generate thumbnails) and publicly display that content in order to operate and promote the service. You represent that you hold the necessary rights to the content and that it does not infringe the rights of others.
Your content is public. The spots, reviews and photos you post are visible to all users. Please do not post anything you want to keep private.
4. Prohibited conduct
- Posting fake, paid or self-serving reviews, or manipulating scores and rankings through multiple accounts or other means
- Posting unlawful, infringing, discriminatory, harassing, deceptive or off-topic content, or photos you did not take and have no right to use
- Misrepresenting the identity or location of a venue, or posting other people's personal information
- Scraping, placing excessive load on the service, reverse engineering, circumventing rate limits or other abuse
- Any other use for unlawful purposes
5. Moderation
Every review has a report action, and reported content is hidden immediately. We may remove content we believe violates these Terms and suspend the accounts responsible.
6. Location and map data
Maps and place information are provided through Google Maps Platform, and some data comes from OpenStreetMap (© OpenStreetMap contributors, ODbL). Their terms apply. Because spot locations and opening status come from user submissions and third-party data, we cannot guarantee their accuracy.
7. Disclaimer
The app is provided "as is". We make no warranty as to the accuracy, completeness or fitness for a particular purpose of the information shown. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for damages arising from your use of the app. Before visiting a venue, please confirm its address and opening hours with the venue's own information.
8. Price
The app is free. Every feature is unlocked and there is no paywall. Advertising is optional and rewarded only: an ad plays when you choose to watch one for Fry Coins, and watching is never a condition of using any feature. If we ever offer an optional "support" purchase, the price and billing period will be shown clearly before you buy.
9. Changes and termination
We may revise these Terms. We will announce material changes in the app or by updating the date above. You may stop using the app and delete your account at any time.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan. The Tokyo District Court shall have exclusive jurisdiction as the court of first instance for any dispute relating to the app.
